Vol. 2 No. 3 (2026): Issue 3 Online First / Ahead of Print

ASIDE Health Sciences, Volume 2, Issue 3 (2026), dated 1 September 2026, is released as an Online First / Ahead of Print issue and brings together original research, clinical audit work, and narrative evidence syntheses across health systems, inpatient quality of care, infectious disease, and mental health.

The original research includes a qualitative interview study of the perceived roles of people resource groups in cultural awareness and community building within a U.S. health system, a prospective closed-loop clinical audit of adherence to venous thromboembolism prophylaxis guidelines in medical inpatients, and a before-and-after quality-improvement audit of acute kidney injury recognition and bundle-based care in adult medical inpatients at a resource-limited tertiary hospital in Pakistan.

The issue also presents a narrative review of primary observational evidence on tuberculosis among people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 era, and a narrative scoping synthesis comparing telehealth and in-person mental health care for underserved populations.
